Celebrating Community Support
at the Arkansas Greek Food Festival
We are deeply honored to once again be selected as one of the beneficiaries of the International Greek Food Festival, hosted by Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Over the years, Youth Home has been privileged to be a recipient of this beloved community event, and we were especially grateful to be part of its triumphant return in October 2025. Our team had the privilege of volunteering at this incredible event, where we witnessed firsthand the dedication and generosity that makes this festival such a meaningful tradition in Central Arkansas.
The festival, which has been serving the community for more than 40 years, brings together thousands of people for authentic Greek cuisine, family-friendly entertainment, and most importantly, a shared commitment to supporting local nonprofits. This year's event once again demonstrated the power of community coming together for a common cause.
Recently, we were invited to attend a special luncheon alongside the other recipient organizations to celebrate before the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow nonprofits and the dedicated members of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church who make this festival possible year after year.
We are thrilled to announce that Youth Home was awarded $5,000 from the proceeds of the festival. This generous gift will directly support our mission and the children and families we serve throughout the region.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, the festival organizers, the countless volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the event a success, and everyone who attended and supported the festival. Since 1984, the International Greek Food Festival has donated more than $1.5 million to over 30 charities serving children, families, and communities throughout Central Arkansas. We are proud to be part of this legacy of giving.
