Youth Home is an in-network provider for TRICARE® and proudly supports military-connected youth and families from every state across the nation and OCONUS.
We understand the unique challenges of military life — frequent moves, deployments, separation across borders and in different houses. Military families also encounter unique stressors that come with service leading to high rates of Reactive Attachment Disorder, depression and anxiety. That’s why our trauma-informed approach emphasizes clinical excellence, cultural sensitivity, and strong family involvement.
Youth Home is a proud member of the Military Child Education Coalition and our services are covered in-network nationwide.
Youth Home is a residential treatment program for military-connected youth and families ages 12–18. We’re in-network with TRICARE and proud to support military families from every branch, every state.
Trauma-informed care isn’t a department at Youth Home — it’s how our entire campus operates. All 220+ team members, from clinical staff and teachers to the kitchen team and administrators, are trained in trauma-informed care, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and the role that connection plays in healing.
That means the person serving your teen lunch understands attachment. The teacher in their classroom knows why structure can feel threatening to some kids. Your teen’s therapist isn’t working alone — they’re supported by a whole campus oriented around the same goal.
Our staff includes retired service members and military spouses who understand what this life actually looks like — not in theory, but from the inside. We’re proud members of the Military Child Education Coalition, and we coordinate directly with EFMP coordinators, military case managers, and installation behavioral health providers.
This is what it looks like when an entire organization takes trauma seriously.

Military parenting is its own category. You’ve held the household together through deployments, school transfers, moves across time zones, and all the uncertainty that comes with service life. Your teen has felt all of it — even when they didn’t say so.
When the moment comes that home isn’t safe, Youth Home is ready.
We’ve been working with military insurance since 2018. Our admissions team handles insurance verification, pre-authorization, and travel coordination — including coverage for intake, discharge, family therapy visits, and home visits throughout treatment. You focus on your family. We handle the rest.

Youth Home doesn’t feel like a hospital or average treatment facility. It feels more like summer camp — except with the structure, safety, and real therapeutic support to actually make progress.
You’ll be on 40+ acres of Arkansas woodland with a low ropes course, basketball court, disc golf, a pavilion, and more outdoor space than you’ll know what to do with. You’ll live in one of our charming cottages, eat chef-prepared meals, and have access to a therapy dog, yoga and recreation, and a team of over 220 people who are genuinely here for you.
You don’t have to have it together when you arrive. That’s kind of why you’re here.
We work with teens carrying a lot — anxiety, depression, trauma, and the particular weight that comes from growing up in a military family. Frequent moves. New schools. Goodbyes that happen whether you’re ready or not.
You’re not alone. These are some of the most common concerns we hear — and how we approach them.
Our approach is different: trauma-informed, personalized, and built for lasting change. Many families come to us after outpatient programs haven’t delivered the support their child needed or multiple acute treatment stays have made sustained progress difficult. Youth Home works to teach and implement meaningful coping skills, connection, and a path forward.
We’re a TRICARE®-approved provider for Tricare East and TriWest. Travel assistance is available to help reduce out-of-pocket costs and keep treatment accessible.
Our on-campus Siebert School provides fully accredited 6th-12th grade education in small class settings with licensed Special Education Teachers and Qualified Behavioral Health Providers in every class. Students stay on track — academically and emotionally, with many students achieving academic success for the very first time.
We begin preparing for that from day one. Reintegration planning, family therapy, and ongoing support help set your child up for long-term success. We also offer telehealth visits, family camps and other options to assist you and your family members as your children transition back home.
We prioritize family involvement. You’ll have access through scheduled calls, teletherapy, and home visits when clinically appropriate. We also assist with travel to keep you connected.
Youth Home offers in-person and virtual family therapy with daily access. We want to help stabilize your family so you can continue to serve. We are equipped and experienced to ensure clients are seen and treated as needed with a team that includes three current veterans and dozens of military spouses.
