Youth Home's special staff of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, educators and therapists will work with the family or guardian to create the necessary safety and structure to meet their needs.
Mark Andersen, Medical Director, has
been with Youth Home since 1998. He frequently lectures at Arkansas
Children's Hospital and has been licensed since 1990.
David Napier joined the Youth Home team in 2006 as Chief Operations Officer. David is a long-time friend of Youth Home and former president of Youth Home’s Board of Directors.

President : J. Lynn Wright hasworked at Regions First Commercial since 1984 and is currently the Area President for Arkansas. He holds a bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. Lynn serves on the National Advisory Board for the Harding University American Studies Institute and is a member of the University Builders Circle. He also serves on the Finance Committee for the CrossWalk Family of God. He was formerly on the board of the Florence Crittenton Home.

Vice President : Melody H. Piazza is Trial Attorney with Wilkes & McHugh, P.A. Formerly she practiced with the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney in Sebastian County and Pulaski County where she served as the Chief Deputy Prosecutor. Melody received her undergraduate degree and her Juris Doctorate degree from U of A at Fayetteville. She is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky and Pennsylvania. A member of the Arkansas Bar , Arkansas Trial Lawyers and Tennessee Bar Associations as well as Bar of the Tennessee Supreme Court. She served on the Board of the Museum of Discovery where she chaired one of the largest fundraisers in 2003-2006 and continues to serve on that Committee. Melody is a founding Board Member of the Pulaski County Bar Foundation and has served since 2005. A prior member of the Leadership Greater Little Rock – Class XVI and named one of the Arkansas Business 40 Under 40. Melody served on the Supreme Court’s Model Jury Instructions – Criminal Committee. She is a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and enjoys running, bike riding and playing tennis. |

Secretary: Roberta M. Clark is Breast Cancer Program Administrator for the Dept. of Surgery, UAMS, Adjunct Instructor John Brown Univ. and Arkansas Baptist. In 2005 received her MBA at UALR. Roberta is a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Central Arkansas Human Resources Assoc., Society of Human Resources Management and American Management Assoc. She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, also enjoys college volleyball and basketball. |

Treasurer : Barry J. McDaniel is retired after 24 years with Morgan Stanley. Barry is a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Little Rock Sister Cities Commission since 2008 and co-chair for the Mayors Commission on Homelessness since 2004. Barry is a board member of Our House since 2000, Advisory Board since 2006 and past board chairman 2002-2006. A member of Central Arkansas Executives Assn. 1985-2008, president 1999 and board member 1992-1999. Barry is married to Barbara Graves who previously served on Youth Home’s Board. He is totally obsessed with the collection of old deco styled radios. He enjoys traveling and has two grown sons and three dogs. |

Past President : Rick F. Lorence, is a Financial Advisor with IPI (Investment Professionals, Inc.) providing professional expertise in life, disability insurance, and LTC, financial planning, mutual funds, stocks and options strategies, annuities, retirement planning, 401-K and IRA rollovers, Real Estate Investment Trusts, and tax managed strategies. He is a licensed attorney with experience in investments, banking and management. Rick is active in the community as a member of the Church at Rock Creek, Rotary Downtown Club, Arkansas Bar Association, Probate and Trust Section Member, and Junior Achievement. He previously served as Commissioner – Arkansas Racing Commission, state and local board member of Kids Voting of Arkansas, Benton County Election Commission, Northwest Arkansas Counsel Member and board member – Rogers Chamber of Commerce. Rick has two daughters, two sons and one granddaughter. Lindsey, his wife, is a partner at the Friday Law Firm. When he is not working he enjoys running, biking, skiing and travel. Sam K. Alley is one of the founders of Vratsinas Construction Company and serves as President and Chief Financial Officer. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer. Affiliations are: Inaugural class of Leadership of Greater Little Rock and an alumni member, vice-president of Parish Council of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, member of Arkansas Society of Professional Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers and American Society of Civil Engineers. He is a life member of the Board of Directors of Youth Home, Inc., was awarded Youth Home Board Member of the Year in 1994 and Board President 1995/1996. His hobbies include golf, fishing, and spending leisure time with his wife and three children.

Elizabeth Burns Anderson was previously Vice President of the commercial banking division of Farmer’s Bank and Trust. Elizabeth is a graduate from the University of Ark., from the Ark. Bankers Assoc. Lending School, Small Business Assoc. Lending School, and the Risk Management Assoc. where she is part of a task team to develop “Teaching Children to Save” program. Elizabeth serves as instructor at Ark. Bankers Assoc. Basic Lending School and Commercial Lending School and President of the Risk Management Assoc. for Central Ark. In 2004, Elizabeth was honored as one of ten successful young professionals within the banking industry. Elizabeth is active in Greater Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, Jr. League of Little Rock, American Heart Assoc., Girl Scouts of Amer., Ark. Cancer Research Center, Ark. Children’s Hospital and Youth Home, Inc. April 2006 was the first non-board member to chair Youth Home’s annual Eggshibition which raised a record amount of $149,000. She now enjoys being a wife and a mom. |

Timothy (Timo) Anderson is Business Consultant for John Hancock Asset Mgmt. and previously Assistant Vice President with US Bancorp Investments. He is a member of Trinity Cathedral Parish. Amber Wilson Bagley graduated Magna Cum Laude with Carl Goodson Honors from Ouachita Baptist University in 2001, received BA in Political Science and Mass Communication. Amber has a Juris Doctorate from U of A at Little Rock Bowen School of Law, clerked for the Honorable Annabelle Clinton Imber and the Honorable Tom Glaze at the Arkansas Supreme Court. She joined Cross, Gunter, Witherspoon & Galchus, P.C. in 2007 practicing healthcare and corporate law. Amber is a member of the American Bar, American Health Lawyers, Arkansas Bar and the Pulaski County Bar Associations. She is an Executive Board member of the Bowen School of Law Alumni Board, a member of the Jennifer L. Carson Scholarship for Single Parents at the Bowen School of Law, a member of the UAMS Housestaff Spouses’ Auxiliary, and a member of Ouachita Baptist University Honor Council’s advisory board. Amber is married to D. Alan Bagley, M.D., a Child and Adolescent Fellow at UAMS in the Department of Psychiatry, and they have one daughter, Anna Elizabeth. |

Rita F. Bailey currently serves as Judge in Jefferson County andis an Attorney for the Bailey Law Firm, a member of the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers, Pulaski County Bar and the Arkansas Bar Associations. Rita is a member of St. Mark Baptist Church serving the youth and drama ministries, and active with Public Service as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She also volunteers for the Volunteer Organization Center for Arkansas Legal Services and for the city of Little Rock at events such as Riverfest and Race for the Cure. |

Christie E. Bardwell was formerly a newsletter publisher for Vestcom International, a company owned by her husband. Christie is from Dumas and Paragould, AR. She studied fine art at the University of Arkansas. Since college she has been an administrative assistant, fund raiser, human resources director, bible study leader, cook, wife and mom. Christie attends Fellowship Bible Church. She enjoys playing golf, painting, playing piano, traveling, reading, and spending time with her son Sky and husband Steve. Christie is one of our artists for Eggshibition and co-chaired Eggshibition XVI and Eggshibition XIX. She previously served on the Board from 2004 -2009 where she served as Board Secretary in 2005-2006. In 2006 Christie was awarded Youth Home Board Member of the Year and in June 2010 was selected as a Youth Home Life Board Member. |

James E. Bobo has over 32 years of service with Entergy Arkansas, Inc., primarily in Nuclear Design Engineering and customer Service/Relations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from John Brown University and an MBA from the University of AR at Little Rock. James has served in the local community with Youth Home Board from 1993-1999, Downtown Kiwanis, as Little Rock Central High School PTA Co-President, United Way Planning and Allocations Committee and as a Riverdale Soccer Club Coach. James attends Fellowship Bible Church where he serves on the In-Touch Ministries and was a teacher for 3 and 4 year olds. In his spare time enjoys golf, tennis, reading and spending time with family. James previously served on the board from 1993-1999, served as Vice President 2008/2009 and as Youth Home President in 2009/2010. |

Kathy Churchill is joint Owner/Office Manager of Township Builders, Inc. (General Contractor). Kathy served, as a Charter Member on the Board of Citizen’s Fidelity Insurance Co. for several years. She has been Board Chair and served in several other board positions along with being a Young Adult Sunday School teacher at her church. Over the years of raising her family, she served as PTA President at McDermott Elementary, Fulbright Elementary, Henderson Jr. High, and as Secretary on the Little Rock PTA Council. She has also been on the Winthrop Rockefeller Cancer Institute Cook’s Tour Committee for several years.

Beth Gladden Coulson is an attorney and has served as a municipal judge and on the Arkansas Court of Appeals. She is a life member of the Youth Home Board of Directors. Past board memberships include UALR Foundation Fund Board, Arkansas Children's Hospital Committee for the Future, Ouachita Baptist University Development Council, Friends of the Repertory Theater, and Metropolitan YMCA. In 1991, she was selected Arkansas' National Society of Fund Raising Executives' Volunteer of the Year. In 1993, she was selected Volunteer of the Year for the Metropolitan YMCA. Beth chaired Youth Home’s annual auctions 1982-1985, and in 1997 started the Neighbor-to-Neighbor Campaign to be Youth Home Board’s annual fundraiser. Beth was Youth Home Board Member of the Year for 2003. |

Tad Krug joined Youth Home Board in September 1977. He has served the agency in many capacities, including Board President 1982 and 1983 and is now a life member. Tad is Chairman of BancorpSouth Insurance Services (formerly Ramsey, Krug, Farrell & Lensing insurance firm). His wife, Judy, has also been an active volunteer serving Youth Home. She helped create and started "Treasurers", a consignment shop that was located next to the Yellow Daisy in the '80's. She also chaired the "Eggshibition", our spring fund-raiser for its first three years.
In addition, Ramsey, Krug, Farrell & Lensing has been a long-time donor to Youth Home, and has an on-going relationship with the clients at Ozark House, sponsoring activities, providing Christmas, etc. Tad has been on the Youth Home Foundation Board since 2004. |

Steve Niswanger is an Attorney and Managing Member of Niswanger Law Firm, PLC. He is former partner of Williams & Anderson, PLC and former Community Developer of Arkansas Industrial Development Commission. Steve is a member of St. James United Methodist Church and is currently on the Board of Trustees and has been a member of the Downtown Little Rock Kiwanis Club since 2001 serving as President in 2004 to 2005. He served as Lt. Governor for the Mo-Ark District of Kiwanis International. He is a graduate of the Greater Little Rock Leadership, Class XVI. He is married to Lila Riggs Niswanger, and they have three children. |

Mark Murphy - is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch. Previously he had been with other financial institutions in Little Rock. Mark is a member of St. James United Methodist Church, past chairman of Economics Arkansas, past president Arkansas Children’s Hospital/Committee for the Future, member of Arkansas Children’s Hospital Board of Directors, Leadership Greater Little Rock Class IV, featured in Arkansas Business publication as “40 under 40” business leader. Mark is married to Sonya Murphy. He has two grown children. Mark previously served on Youth Home Board as Vice President 2003/2004 and Board President 2004/2005.

Valerie J. Pruitt is co-owner of Proguard Security, Inc. For the past 15 years she has hosted a public affairs show on Comcast, called “In-Depth”, the focus is on current issues & special events in the community. Valerie is a board member of Our House, Inc. and Johnson Montessori School, a committee member of American Heart Association “Go Red for Women’s Luncheon”, a committee member of the Central Arkansas Ronald McDonald Charities Chocolate Fantasy Ball and has served as Little Rock City Planning Commissioner in 2007-2009. Valerie’s hobbies are collecting pens, working out at the gym, swimming and spending time with grandchildren. |

Carl S. Rosenbaum is Chairman of the Board of Arkansas Glass Container Corp., a partner in Rosenbaum Brothers Partnership, Chairman of the Board of Safe Foods Corporation, and is Highway Commissioner with the Arkansas State Highway Commission. Carl graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.S.B.A. in finance. He has held offices in numerous civic organizations besides Youth Home; Rotary, YMCA, Boy Scouts Council, served on the Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, past president of Community Concerts of Greater Little Rock and currently serves on the Baptist Medical Systems Board. Carl has served on the board of directors of Regions Bank of Little Rock and previous Chairman of the Board for the Governor’s Mental Health System Task Force and he served the state as Commissioner on the Arkansas Department of Economic Development for four years.
Carl is a life member on the Youth Home Board of Directors and was instrumental in the founding of Youth Home, Inc., he served as the board’s first president and he led the effort to secure support of Rotary District 6150, which was Youth Home’s primary financial support during its early years.
Carl resides in Little Rock with his wife, Martha and they are members of Little Rock’s First Baptist Church. They have three married children and six grandchildren.

Laura Tyler - is Administrator of the UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute and a licensed AR Counselor. She has 29 years of work in the Behavioral Health Field. A native to Arkansas she was raised in Eureka Springs. Laura is a member of Fellowship Bible Church and small group leader. Married to Mark and they have two sons Ted and Jack.

R. Lance West - is Sr. Vice President/CFO of Coulson Oil Company. He has been with Coulson Oil since 1993. Has a BA in Accounting and Business Administration from Ouachita Baptist University and MBA from UALR and CPA (inactive). His community activities are: Member and Deacon of Immanuel Baptist Church as well as various committees and leadership roles, American Red Cross of Greater AR board member (effective in summer 2011), Ouachita Baptist University – Alumnus Business Advisory Council since 1998; former board member of the United Cerebral Palsy of Central AR, 2003/2004 graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock.
