ABOUT YOUTH HOME, INC.

 

Youth Home, IncFounded in 1966, Youth Home, Inc., located in Little Rock, Arkansas, is a private non-profit psychiatric treatment center for emotionally troubled adolescents and their families. In 1968, the program moved into its first residence with house parents leading the original group homes until the 1980's. At that time, Youth Home's program developed into an intensive treatment model directed by on-site child and adolescent psychiatrists. Youth Home, Inc. is accredited by The Joint Commission, the nation's oldest and largest accrediting body for healthcare providers. Youth Home addresses a need in the State of Arkansas for quality healthcare for teenagers diagnosed with mental illnesses ranging from major depression to borderline personality disorder, from bipolar disorder to schizophrenia.

 

In 2007, we celebrated our 40th anniversary as one of the oldest, largest and most experienced adolescent psychiatric treatment agencies in Arkansas. Youth Home's dedicated and respected team of professionals administers a variety of comprehensive programs specializing in individual, group, and family therapy.

 

Our staff includes: board-certified child/adolescent psychiatrists; Master's-level clinical therapists; Bachelor's-level residential treatment counselors; and psychologists, nurses, special education teachers and a dietician.
